Painter

Scenery grounds a story in a particular time and place and is one of the visual elements that most absorbs an audience into the scene with the cast on screen. Assistant Script Supervisor

Most film and television productions will employ only one script supervisor, but large projects can require an assistant to help shoulder some of the responsibilities of that position. This person is hired by the script supervisor and will support him or her in maintaining records and processing script changes during principal photography.

Production Coordinator

The production coordinator works within a record label and contributes to the creation of art and written copy assets for packaging, promotional materials, and other consumer-targeted products. This person is the chief point of contact in monitoring the completion of these assets and assists senior-level managers within multiple departments.

Band Videographer

Similar to the work of a unit videographer, a band videographer is a freelance cameraperson who is hired to capture footage of live performances on behalf of the artist or band for the purposes of promotion.

Costumer

A costumer is an assistant to the costume designer who works in theatrical production, as well as film and television. This person begins work during pre-production, participates in the processes of research and sourcing materials, then works on through to the delivery of the wardrobe to the stage or location set.

Set Decoration Crew

The set decoration crew, known colloquially as the set dec crew, are the junior members of the set decorating department and begin work during pre-production of a film or television show. The number of technicians required on the crew will be determined by the scale of the production and number of different sets to be dressed.

A game company’s first line of conflict resolution to prevent a customer from becoming an enemy for life is the customer service technician. This person answers the frustrated, outraged calls of gamers whose missions have frozen and badges are not displaying properly, and the myriad of other technical glitches that can occur during regular gameplay.

Label Copy Coordinator

Proper credit for work performed in the production of a music recording is just as important to contributors as the payment they receive. Responsible for compiling this information and disseminating it within the record label is the label copy coordinator.

Social Media Coordinator

Entertainment and media companies are interested in leveraging the full power of social networking sites to promote their brand and products, and to grow a community of loyal fans. The public face of that effort is the social media coordinator.

Script Reader

In entertainment production, a script reader is the gatekeeper between the scriptwriter and the development executive with the power to greenlight scripts. This person keeps the crap off the boss’s desk and puts forward only the material with real promise.
