Hailing from Houston, Texas, ND’s passion for writing, travel and culture began as a teenager when her parents and brother would often travel to New Orleans to visit extended family. Her wanderlust exploded when she joined the United States Air Force six months after graduating high school. She’s traveled to Haiti, Japan, Philly, Miami, Maui and many points in between. Through her freelance writing efforts, she has written about health, nutrition, music, food and travel. She has written for shortandsweetNYC.com, Ghettoblaster Magazine and Nu-Soul Magazine.
